Prior to becoming a lawyer, Adil Habib was a Chemical Engineer and Senior Project Engineer in the oil & gas industry. He earned his engineering degree from the University of Waterloo, Canada's foremost engineering post-secondary institution.
After deciding to pursue a career in law, Adil earned a Juris Doctor from Bond University in Queensland, Australia, and graduated with Honours.
Adil's primary area of practice is civil litigation. Specifically, he represents clients in construction lawsuits, wrongful dismissal claims, commercial disputes, negligence, defamation, shareholder agreements, directors' & shareholder disputes, etc.
Adil has a particular interest in construction lien disputes, as his background in engineering gives him a unique insight into the issues faced by contractors, sub-contractors and homeowners.
He also practices in estate law, including the preparation of Wills, Powers of Attorney, and estate litigation.
